02.Acceptable Behavior
We encourage positive interactions including: respectful communication in chat and comments, constructive feedback that helps artists grow, celebrating diverse musical styles and cultural expressions, supporting emerging and established artists equally, sharing genuine appreciation for performances, engaging in meaningful discussions about music and artistry, reporting content that violates our guidelines, and helping new community members feel welcome. We value authenticity, creativity, and kindness in all interactions. Community members should strive to create an environment where everyone feels safe to express themselves musically and socially.
03.Prohibited Activities
The following activities are not permitted on Musicbuff: harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic
spam, excessive self-promotion, or commercial solicitation unrelated to music.
sharing copyrighted content without proper authorization.
impersonating other users, artists, or public figures.
posting explicit, violent, or inappropriate content during live streams.
disrupting performances through excessive or inappropriate chat behavior.
sharing personal information of other users without consent.
attempting to circumvent platform rules or technical restrictions.
coordinated inauthentic behavior or manipulation of engagement metrics.
and any illegal activities or content that violates applicable laws. Violations may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent account suspension.
04.Content Standards
All content shared on Musicbuff must comply with our community standards. This includes live performances, chat messages, profile information, and any user-generated content. Content should be appropriate for a diverse, global audience and should not contain hate speech, graphic violence, explicit sexual content, or material that promotes illegal activities. Artists are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to perform copyrighted material. We encourage original compositions and properly licensed covers. Content that promotes self-harm, dangerous activities, or misinformation may be removed to protect community safety.
05.Artist Responsibilities
Artists using Musicbuff have additional responsibilities to maintain a positive streaming environment. This includes moderating their chat appropriately, responding professionally to feedback, ensuring audio and video quality meets basic technical standards, respecting scheduled performance times, providing accurate information about their music and performances, and engaging authentically with their audience. Artists should also be prepared to handle technical issues gracefully and maintain appropriate behavior even when facing criticism or technical difficulties. We provide resources and support to help artists succeed on our platform.
06.Audience Guidelines
Audience members play a crucial role in creating a supportive community atmosphere. We encourage active, respectful participation through chat, reactions, and engagement with artists. Audience members should respect artists' creative choices, provide constructive feedback when appropriate, avoid disruptive behavior during performances, and help maintain a welcoming environment for all viewers. Remember that artists are sharing their creativity in real-time, which requires courage and vulnerability. Your support and encouragement can make a significant difference in their experience and artistic growth.
07.Reporting and Enforcement
Community violations can be reported through our in-platform reporting system, available on all streams and user profiles. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours during business days. We take all reports seriously and investigate thoroughly while respecting user privacy. Enforcement actions may include content removal, temporary restrictions, account warnings, or permanent suspension depending on the severity and frequency of violations. Users have the right to appeal moderation decisions through our support system. We maintain transparency about our enforcement actions while protecting user privacy and safety.
